Darren Rowse, of Problogger dot net, is giving away $54,000 worth of prizes to celebrate Problogger’s birthday. If you’re interested in winning some great free stuff, they are making the contests easy to enter so just about anyone can participate (at least so far).  Currently they are having a contest to give away 2 20-inch USB Monitors, provided by Display Link.  Check out the latest post about the monitors, how great would those look on your desk (or actually on my desk hopefully!).

The Prize Blog is currently holding a random drawing for anyone that posts about their contest to win a custom logo.  The logo will be created by SOS Factory, which from the look of it has created some pretty cool logos.  In case you haven’t noticed, Things That Are Fun! could probably benefit from a custom logo design and since I haven’t won anything yet, I thought this might be my lucky post.  Wish me luck!

We’ve all been there.  You’re sitting at work waiting for the little hand to get to the 5 so you can head home for the day.  When you’re bored at work, nothing seems to go slower.  Well there might be a solution to that.  Here are some ideas you can try in your office to make the day go faster, who knows you might even have fun:

• Get rid of your old inbox and label your trashcan as your new inbox and sit it on your desk (I knew someone that tried this).  Watch people’s reactions.

Looking at the list of the top fantasy performers so far this season, there are many unexpected names at the top of the list (and noticeably absent names that we were expecting).  I guess what you’re looking for when you’re drafting your team is consistency though.  And maybe the great players (like L.T.) will be back on top of the stats here soon, but after two weeks it hasn’t happened yet.  Take a look at the top 5 at each position and tell me what you think (points in my league in parentheses).  Expected top 5 in bold:
