I came across a pretty nifty web development blog created by Jon Lee the other day. Covering a wide variety of technology based subjects, if you’re interested in blogging or computers, then this site might be good for you.
Jon Lee has several articles that caught my attention the first time I looked over his blog. I was particularly interested in his post How to Recover Your Hacked Blog or Site. That would probably be the worst thing that I could think of happening to my blog. As soon as I read it I began looking more into backing up both my content and design of my site. I found BlogBackOnline to be useful (and it’s free), but I’m still looking at other options now. Thanks Jon.
Jon is currently giving away a free PR4 backlink to anyone that writes a review of his site using certain criteria. Looking at my current pagerank, I could certainly use all the backlinks I can get (granted Thing That Are Fun! hasn’t been through a pagerank update yet). For each batch of reviews he gets, Jon said he is giving away something small to a random reviewer. Free stuff is always fun. He also will pick the best review out of each batch and make it his featured blog for a period of time. Nice.
The only part I found confusing (probably just because I’m a little slow
) is his title of his site, which is “Jon Lee dot see eh”. For some reason I kept wanting to read that as “Jon Lee dot s e”. Don’t ask me why, and I guess that isn’t Jon’s fault.
Overall, I found Jon Lee’s site to be very interesting and intriguing. From the looks of it, with 278 readers through feedburner, it looks like a lot of people agree with me. I have signed up for his RSS feed and if you have any interest in web development, I would suggest you look into too.

Thanks Jon. I’ll be writing a post about winning the contest soon. I’m looking forward to testing that out.
