Darren Rowse, of Problogger dot net, is giving away $54,000 worth of prizes to celebrate Problogger’s birthday. If you’re interested in winning some great free stuff, they are making the contests easy to enter so just about anyone can participate (at least so far). Currently they are having a contest to give away 2 20-inch USB Monitors, provided by Display Link. It was a great promo wasn’t it? Imagine being able gather up $54k in prizes. Only ProBlogger hey? I didn’t win anything either… hope he does it again next year!
Seriously. I haven’t even had my first contest yet. Once I get through everything I have going on at my job, a contest for this site is my next goal.
Contests can be a great way of getting the traffic flowing on the site. Once word gets out they quickly become very popular.
