Looking at the list of the top fantasy performers so far this season, there are many unexpected names at the top of the list (and noticeably absent names that we were expecting).  I guess what you’re looking for when you’re drafting your team is consistency though.  And maybe the great players (like L.T.) will be back on top of the stats here soon, but after two weeks it hasn’t happened yet.  Take a look at the top 5 at each position and tell me what you think (points in my league in parentheses).  Expected top 5 in bold:

Over the weekend while visiting friends in Indianapolis, Indiana, we randomly came across a Corvette Show at Clay Terrace Mall.  I don’t really know much about cars, other than how to get my oil changed, but I always think it’s cool to see some great sports car on display.  The Corvettes at the show ranged from 1953-2008 (C1 to C6 Classes if you know what that means ). Apparently it’s an annual event, so if you’re ever in that part of the control and are interested in cars, it might be worth your time to check out. 

Anyways, I didn’t have my camera with me so I had to use my cell phone to take these pictures.  Sorry about the resolution in advance.

In case you haven’t noticed from my postings lately, I’ve been checking out a bunch of movies this summer.  Recently I’ve seen The Bourne Ultimatum, Transformers, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, The Simpsons, and License to Wed.  But by far, I think the funniest movie out right now is Knocked Up.

If you’re waiting for the best movie of the summer to come out, you don’t have to wait any longer.  I was expecting big things from ”The Bourne Ultimatum” and it definitely didn’t disappoint. 

 From the beginning to the end of the movie, there is non-stop action - from fight scenes to car chaces to near misses.  The shaky filming of the fight scenes is characteristic of the other Bourne movies and gives the movie an extra edge.  The character development is great the actors

Collective Soul, Live and Counting Crows are currently touring around the U.S. on their ‘Triple Play’ tour. The reason they are calling it the ‘Triple Play’ tour is that they are traveling around to a number of minor league ballbarks around the country for outdoor concerts. 

 We went to see the concert in Dayton, Ohio over the weekend.  I expected it to be packed since the place only held a few thousand.  However when we got there it was about half filled and their was plenty of room to stand around in the outfield to watch all the acts (it probably that it rained earlier in the day which may have scared people into staying home).

Over the weekend I went with some friends to Argosy Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.  Although I had a fun time because of the company I was with, I don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon.  Below I listed the top 5 reasons for not going back to Argosy Casino:

1. Expensive Hotel Rooms - at over $200 per night for a room, we decided to stay just down the street at Holiday Inn Express.  We still ended paying $130 for a room.
2. Every Floor is Smoking - I’m sure this is nice if you’re a smoker, but if you’re not there really isn’t any place to get away from the smoke.
3. It looks like a Night at the Bingo Hall - I’m not going to go into much detail on this one, but the crowd just wasn’t the demographic I expected.  I expected a wider range of age groups but for the majority I saw, this wasn’t the case.
4. Everyone’s Too Serious - I know everyone is trying to win money, but the way some people guard their slot machines is a little rediculous if you ask me.
